*The YMCA of Greater Brandywine’s 7th Grade Initiative offers seventh-grade students a complimentary youth membership for up to one year. Students are eligible once they graduate 6th grade through August 31st of their 7th-grade year. The transition into adolescence is one of the most dynamic and influential periods of development, as children undergo broad changes.
This period is also a critical time where key interventions can have positive long-term outcomes. The YMCA is a safe space where youth can discover their passions and develop a sense of belonging while pursuing their personal and educational goals. More than 1,000 seventh-graders enjoy this complimentary membership every year. To donate to the Chester County YMCA’s upcoming golf event and take part yourself, please visit here.
