Meet Heather, M.S. Clinical Mental Health

Heather received her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently an outpatient therapist who has experience working with people of all ages who are navigating their anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation.

Heather believes that treatment should be tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

She is committed to creating an environment where the client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while integrating person-centered and strengths-based interventions to help clients develop coping skills, gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and build resilience. She recognizes the importance of trust in the therapeutic relationship, the value of empathy, and the creation of a non-judgemental environment in the therapeutic process.

Heather is passionate about helping individuals increase self-awareness, develop skills to overcome obstacles, and encourage positive changes that support their quality of life. She looks forward to partnering with you in your journey towards healing and growth.
