Meet Sara, M.A., ATR-P

Sara’s background of clinical experience includes working with clients across the lifespan and their families to support physical, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional health in various levels of care. Sara is an art therapist and counselor, who uses the evidence-based practice behind psychotherapy and the Expressive Therapies Continuum to aid clients in exploring themselves through creative modalities and creative expression to promote healing and well-being. Sara’s practice is informed by a client-centered and strengths-based approach to foster intersectional identities and individuality in combination with creativity and play to support clients through a safe, comfortable experience.

Sara’s work aims to provide support and implement effective strategies to enhance clients’ overall well-being and promote their long-term success throughout life, based on their specific needs. Sara is motivated to help others establish and work towards attainable goals, regulate their emotions, increase self-esteem, inspire common and personal goals, challenge shortcomings, and be exposed to new experiences.
